Latvia
August 31 – September 11, 2006

map  map

The people, pastors and laymen of several churches, and the Latvia Baptist Union have invited the people of our church to share in an innovative outreach that could dramatically impact one of the most courageous and beautiful of the Baltic countries.

You are invited to make a difference in your world to close your summer of 2006. You are invited to live in the homes of the people of the churches and go where they go, meeting their neighbors, friends, family and co-workers. That will give everyone the opportunity to share stories that will an overwhelming difference: their story, your story and God’s story.

You are invited – actually commissioned by Jesus himself – to be a part of this strategic opportunity. Cost is not a factor: God will provide! Language is not a barrier: enthusiasm speaks to the heart of every person, beyond the ability of tongue to communicate! Your availability is the gift God asks. We will join the Latvian believers to lead in meeting people through your assigned city and then sharing in evening home meetings.

You will have your own testimony translated into a bilingual witnessing tract. Translators will be there to help as well. We will help you prepare, but God will meet your every need.
