From the Coordinator:

Jerry Byrd
Crusade Coordinator

Dear Pastor and Members,

Holland! It is country of such beautiful images: tulips and windmills, canals and ocean vistas. It is also a people of great courage and determination: world traders and safe houses for Jews during the holocaust. It is a country that honors individualism and a spirit of tolerance.

Sadly, this individualism and tolerance seems to have contributed to a moral decline in the generation that has forgotten its great roots of religious freedom. Netherlands (the correct name) has now become more known for its tolerance of sin in many forms than for its courage to resist during Europe’s last war.

The Baptists of the Netherlands are a shining beacon to their society. They preach the gospel freely. They touch their neighbors with God’s great love. They believe now is the time to take a giant step forward in evangelism.

Dutch Baptists are inviting fellow Baptists from around the world to join them in a plan to share Jesus with their countrymen and impact their nation for the Lord. They believe that together more people can be reached, more lives changed, churches strengthened, believers united.

It is not a time for someone else to respond …..You are needed. You are wanted. You can be powerfully used. There is a place waiting for you. There are people who have not heard God’s good news from ordinary people who will respond if you go and tell them.

Pastor H. L. "Luke" Neiman is working with the churches to make plans for the campaign. He and each pastor and church believe this is the right time to join together to proclaim the good news to Holland. They are waiting and ready for you to join in the struggle for the minds and hearts of men and women, boys and girls, in breathtaking Netherlands.

For the Kingdom of Christ,

Jerry Byrd
Crusade Coordinator
